David Perron Signs One-Year, $850,000 Contract with Dallas Stars

Forward David Perron is joining the Dallas Stars on a one-year, $850,000 contract for his 20th NHL season. The 38-year-old veteran, who won a Stanley Cup in 2019 with St. Louis, has recorded 332 goals, 480 assists, and 812 points in 1,239 career regular-season games. General manager Jim Nill noted the move brings crucial scoring depth and veteran leadership to the roster after losing Matt Duchene for three months to core muscle surgery.
