Brett Wisely Added to Atlanta Braves 40-Man Roster

The Atlanta Braves selected Brett Wisely to their 40-man roster, ensuring organizational depth as the offseason begins. Wisely spent the 2026 season with Triple-A Gwinnett, playing 125 games and posting a .281/.399/.436 slash line with 11 home runs and a 127 wRC+. Having made no big league appearances for Atlanta in 2026, the procedural move secures his contract rights and prevents him from electing minor league free agency while keeping future roster flexibility open.
