Joe Milton III Signed to Eagles Active Roster from Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles signed third-year quarterback Joe Milton III off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad directly to their 53-man roster. Milton provides depth following Jalen Hurts' indefinite absence due to a blood clot, joining backup Tanner McKee and rookie Cole Payton. Milton has appeared in five games over the past two seasons without a start and enters Sunday as the probable third-string option.
