Darius Slayton Released by Indianapolis Colts Without Playing a Snap
The Indianapolis Colts have released wide receiver Darius Slayton after he failed to appear in a game following his September 22nd signing. Signed to provide a downfield spark after an injury to Alec Pierce, Slayton suffered his own knee issue. The former Giants receiver recorded 37 catches for 538 yards and a touchdown last year, and is now searching for a new NFL home.
