Freddie Freeman Rejects Narrative That 'Old' Dodgers Can't Compete

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman pushed back against narratives that the team is too old to compete after falling into an 0-3 deficit against the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS. Speaking before Game 4 at Dodger Stadium, Freeman acknowledged LA has an older roster but rejected age as the primary reason for their struggles, stating the team simply is not playing well. The defending champions were ultimately swept in four games as their World Series three-peat dream ended.
