Connor Bedard Scores First Goal Of Season On Milestone Night

Chicago Blackhawks captain Connor Bedard netted his first goal of the 2026-27 season on a 5-on-3 power play against the Winnipeg Jets. The milestone goal not only got Chicago on the board early in the first period but also served as the historic helper that allowed teammate Patrick Kane to break the all-time assist record for U.S.-born NHL players. Bedard's impressive shot helped spark the Blackhawks as they look to build early-season momentum with a healthy lineup.
