Igor Shesterkin Sidelined With Season-Ending Right Knee Injury

New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin suffered a season-ending right knee injury during a game against the Washington Capitals. His absence, combined with Joonas Korpisalo's long-term injury reserve status due to a lower-body issue, has severely thinned the Rangers' goaltending depth at both the NHL and AHL levels, prompting the organization to add veteran netminder James Reimer on a professional tryout contract to help stabilize the depleted position group moving forward.
