Jordan Mason Hopeful to Return From Injured Reserve in Week 7

The Minnesota Vikings are hopeful that running back Jordan Mason (thumb) will be ready to return from injured reserve for their Week 7 matchup against the Colts, according to Jeremy Fowler. Mason has missed the required four games after thumb surgery following the season opener. While Aaron Jones has handled backfield duties during his absence, Mason is expected to reclaim early-down snaps once reinstated.
