Nico Daws Earns First Win As Devils Dominate Rangers 7-1

Nico Daws earned his first victory of the 2026-27 season by stopping 18 of 19 shots in the New Jersey Devils' dominant 7-1 rout of the New York Rangers. The 25-year-old netminder bounced back from an early-season slump, losing his shutout bid only in the third period on a power-play goal by Pavel Dorofeyev. The win moved Daws' record to 1-2-0 as the Devils improved to 4-3-0 overall.
