Samaje Perine Pushes for RB1 Role After Surpassing Chase Brown

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine is making a strong push for a larger role after out-carrying teammate Chase Brown in a win over the Miami Dolphins. Perine capitalized on increased opportunities following a Brown fumble, finishing the game with 14 carries for 68 yards and catching a touchdown pass from Joe Burrow. Offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher noted that Perine's downhill running style and ability to play through contact heavily influenced the shifted touch share.
