Tyrice Knight Set to Step Up as Seattle Linebacker Depleted by Injuries

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald ruled out linebacker Drake Thomas, running back Zach Charbonnet, and linebacker Chazz Surratt for Thursday's game against Denver. Thomas is recovering from an ankle injury suffered late against San Francisco. In his place, Macdonald stated the team will lean on 2024 fourth-round pick Tyrice Knight. Knight has seen limited action in his career, recording just one tackle in 2026, as the Seahawks navigate a short week.
