Dillon Dingler Named Finalist for American League Gold Glove Award

Detroit Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler is a finalist for the 2026 Rawlings Gold Glove Award in the American League. He is competing against Austin Wells (Yankees) and Brandon Valenzuela (Blue Jays). Dingler led qualified catchers with +15 Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) and a +16 Fielding Run Value (FRV) over 145 games, 116 behind the plate. His strong defensive metrics suggest he is a favorite to win the award.
