Toronto Maple Leafs Evaluate Defensive Trade Targets With Chris Tanev Injured

The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking internally to manage their defensive depth following an injury to veteran Chris Tanev. While general manager John Chayka plans to address the blue line internally for now, potential future trade targets include Brenden Dillon, Nick Perbix, Carson Soucy, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Zach Whitecloud. Tanev's timeline remains unknown, leaving Toronto searching for a reliable bottom-four option to stabilize their back end for a competitive run.
