Byron Murphy II: Byron Murphy Earns NFC Defensive Player of the Week Honors for Vikings

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording two second-half interceptions—including a game-sealing pick with under three minutes left—along with three tackles and a tackle for loss in a 23-13 win over the Saints. Murphy is tied for the NFL lead with three interceptions, helping fuel a stingy Vikings defense that has forced ten turnovers.
