Red Wings GM Shawn Horcoff Has "Zero Interest" In Trading Simon Edvinsson

Detroit Red Wings interim GM Shawn Horcoff has "zero interest" in trading restricted free agent defenseman Simon Edvinsson, stating he wants to sign the 23-year-old. Despite previous trade interest from teams like the St. Louis Blues and Edvinsson's reported preference for a move, Detroit is adamant about retaining the 2021 sixth overall pick. The struggling Red Wings urgently need his two-way skill set as they look to turn around their difficult start to the season.
