Olen Zellweger Scores Twice In Sabres Shootout Loss To Canadiens

Olen Zellweger scored two goals on four shots, added two penalty minutes, one hit, one blocked shot, and a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens. The 23-year-old defenseman opened and closed regulation scoring, forcing a 3-3 tie with a third-period shot through traffic. Benefiting from injuries to Rasmus Dahlin and Matt Grzelcyk, Zellweger logged a season-high 25:49 of ice time and will likely maintain an elevated role until the Buffalo blue line gets healthy.
