Carter Verhaeghe Scores Two Goals Including Game-Winner

Carter Verhaeghe scored two goals, including the game-winner on the power play, in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. After Brady Tkachuk erased a 1-0 deficit, Verhaeghe extended the lead to 4-1 by finishing a cross-ice feed from the younger Tkachuk brother. This represents his first multi-point effort of the season. Through seven games, Verhaeghe has totaled three goals and one assist as he pursues his fifth consecutive campaign with 20-plus goals and 50-plus points.
