Matthew Tkachuk Collects Five Assists In Historic Performance

Matthew Tkachuk collected five assists, four coming on the power play, in Tuesday's 7-3 win against the Blue Jackets. He played a direct role in brother Brady's second-period natural hat trick and set up Carter Verhaeghe, becoming the first player in Panthers history to record four assists in a single period. The siblings combined for nine points to tie an NHL record. The effort extends Matthew's point streak to six games, during which he has accumulated three goals and 10 points.
