Peter Woods Shows Run-Defense Flash in Early Rookie Campaign

Kansas City Chiefs rookie defensive tackle Peter Woods is seeing extensive snaps early in the year, flashing tremendous skill in run defense while grading out at 71 percent in that category. The 30th overall draft pick has used exceptional leverage and athleticism to blow up plays at the line of scrimmage, though he continues to work on developing his one-on-one pass-rush moves, generating zero sacks and three pressures through four games.
