Baker Mayfield Misses Practice, Unlikely to Play Sunday vs. Steelers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield missed Wednesday's practice as he continues recovering from a dislocated right thumb sustained September 27. Mayfield remains unlikely to play Sunday against the Steelers. Although he recently transitioned to a smaller splint and plans to test his grip and throw this week, his ongoing absence means undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels is lined up to make his third consecutive start under center for the Buccaneers.
