Brock Purdy Retains Top Spot in Rankings as Elite Play Continues

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy continues to hold down the number one spot in NFL quarterback power rankings and is closing in on the league lead in passer rating. Former 49ers quarterback coach Brian Griese noted that Purdy playing at an MVP level is no surprise and believes there is still room for further improvement. Purdy's stellar steady play anchors a 49ers squad that continues navigating major roster injuries throughout the 2026 season.
