Logan Thompson Starting for Capitals Against Hurricanes Tuesday

Washington Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson, 29, will guard the home net in Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Thompson aims to rebound after his worst start of the season on Sunday, where he allowed five goals in his only loss. So far this season, he holds a 3-1-0 record with a 2.77 GAA and a .902 save percentage across four appearances. This will be his second start against Carolina, having previously stopped 31 shots in a 5-2 victory on October 2.
