Ja'Marr Chase's 'People's Elbow' Fines Rescinded by NFL
The NFL has rescinded two $14,926 fines issued to Ja'Marr Chase for his "people's elbow" touchdown celebration in Week 2. The Cincinnati Bengals wideout successfully appealed, arguing the league assumed the worst and that it was a new, non-offensive wrestling move. His teammate Tee Higgins also performed it and was fined; unclear if Higgins' fines were also rescinded. Chase had previously stated the celebration was a nod to The Rock's signature move.
