Casey DeSmith Slated to Defend Crease Wednesday in Colorado

Dallas Stars goaltender Casey DeSmith will get the second half of a back-to-back set, guarding the road goal against Colorado on Wednesday. DeSmith makes his second start of the 2026-27 campaign after stopping 24 shots in a 2-1 loss to Nashville on October 3. The 35-year-old backup takes over after Jake Oettinger starts Tuesday's home match against an Avalanche squad that has amassed 26 goals through its first five games of the season.
