Kevin Kiermaier, Dodgers World Series Champ, to Throw ALCS First Pitch
Kevin Kiermaier, who retired after the 2024 season having split his final year between the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch for ALCS Game 2 between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians. Kiermaier, a former 31st-round pick, spent nine seasons with the Rays, hitting .248/.308/.407 with 82 HR, and earning three Gold Gloves and a Platinum Glove in 2015. He finished his career with the Dodgers, mainly as a defensive replacement, where he won his first and only World Series ring.
