Jacob Markstrom Exits Loss Due to Lower-Body Tightness

Florida Panthers goaltender Jacob Markstrom was pulled from a 5-3 loss to Buffalo in the first period due to lower-body tightness. Coach Paul Maurice stated there is no serious injury and it is standard stuff, though Markstrom will be evaluated. He stopped nine of 11 shots before exiting and carries a .904 save percentage and 2.03 GAA through five starts. Akira Schmid replaced him, and the Panthers recalled Cooper Black from the AHL to help manage the crease.
