Michael Forret Refines Pitch Arsenal Ahead of 2027 Season with Orioles

Pitching prospect Michael Forret is set to begin the 2027 season at Triple-A Norfolk after returning to the Baltimore Orioles in an August deadline swap for Tyler Wells. The 22-year-old right-hander posted a 6.35 ERA across five starts with Norfolk following a successful stint in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, where he posted a 2.15 ERA in Double-A and added a new cutter to his repertoire. The 2023 14th-round pick aims to earn a potential major league debut in 2027.
