Mike Evans Dominates, Proving Key to 49ers' Undefeated Start

Mike Evans has been a dominant force for the San Francisco 49ers, emerging as a top free agent acquisition through Week 5. He torched the Seahawks for 113 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven receptions, proving crucial to the 49ers' 5-0 start. Evans has caught 96% of catchable targets and 10 of 13 contested targets (career highs), providing a vital answer against man coverage. Despite his impact, the team's receiving depth is thin, leading Coach Shanahan to limit Evans' snaps due to his own health concerns.
