William Karlsson Scores First Goal of Season in Vegas Defeat

Vegas Golden Knights veteran center William Karlsson scored his first goal of the season at 9:25 of the third period during a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Monday night. Karlsson used his speed to beat a defender down the ice, finishing a two-on-one rush off a pass from Brett Howden. The score brought Vegas within one goal at 3-2, but the team's four-game winning streak was snapped following a costly three-goal first-period surge by the Wild.
