Andre Drummond Impresses Knicks Coach With Unbelievable Communication

Entering his 15th NBA season, backup center Andre Drummond has drawn high praise from Knicks head coach Mike Brown for his vocal defensive leadership and communication during preseason. In a 122-104 preseason loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Drummond recorded four points, four rebounds, three blocks, and a steal in 12 minutes off the bench. Signed in the offseason to back up Karl-Anthony Towns, the veteran big man is expected to provide key minutes and mentorship.
