Trevor van Riemsdyk Placed on Injured Reserve by Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that Trevor van Riemsdyk has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury. He got hurt during Friday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets and missed Saturday's game against the Dallas Stars. Head coach Dan Muse confirmed that TVR will not start the upcoming four-and-game road trip with the team, though joining them later isn't ruled out. Spencer Stastney has filled in for him in the lineup.
