Karl-Anthony Towns Addresses Contract Drama Amid Reggie Miller Warning

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 11 points in a 122-104 preseason loss to Minnesota, resting Tuesday against Toronto. Meanwhile, contract extension talks stalled between Towns and the Knicks. Towns called the halt "news to me" and expressed disappointment, though he emphasized his focus on defending New York's title. Reggie Miller warned the drama could impact their repeat hopes, urging both sides to bridge a gap between a $200M offer and a $277M max extension.
