Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Undergoes Laser Eye Surgery After Career-Worst Season
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. underwent laser eye surgery in Miami in hopes of rebounding from a career-worst 2026 season. Coming off a campaign where he hit just 9 home runs and batted .260 amidst injuries and vision struggles, the six-time All-Star aims to regain his MVP-caliber form. Guerrero, who signed a 14-year, $500 million extension, previously wore contact lenses and is looking forward to improved vision and power next year.
