Nate Danielson Urged by Red Wings to Elevate Offensive Production

Detroit Red Wings forward Nate Danielson has posted just one assist through five games to start the 2026-27 season. Head coach Todd McLellan stated that while Danielson successfully made the team out of training camp, he now needs to "take it up a notch" and contribute more on the scoresheet. Danielson acknowledged that he needs to shoot more and generate O-zone time. The 2023 ninth-overall pick previously posted 15 points in 18 AHL games last season.
